Religion of the people of Arunachal Pradesh

The Monpas, Sherdupens, Membas, Khambas inhabiting the northern extremities are followers of Tibetan Buddhism.The Khamptis and Singphos who migrated in the last quarter of the 18th century follow Theravada Buddhism.
